District Documentation & Recordkeeping
Maintains and updates District 8’s Book of Motions, Book of Current Practices, and Legacy of Service
Updates are made monthly, based on passed motions and submitted changes
Ensures anonymity and clarity in all documentation
Tracks perpetual and expiring motions accordingly
Involvement with Area 15 & the District
Attends Area 15 Current Practices Committee meetings at Quarterlies
Vote on Area 15 Current Practice committee meeting agenda items during the Area 15 Current Practice committee meeting.
Reports back to District 8 on Area discussions and changes
Collaborates with District officers to keep practices accurate and up to date
Digital & Communication Tools
Works with the Website Chair to publish the most current versions of all documents
Uses Google Drive to organize and store updated materials
Monitors the committee email inbox and responds as needed
Annual Planning & Budget
Reviews the Legacy of Service entries before each election cycle
Submits an annual budget request each October to support committee activities
Qualifications to become a Committee Chair
- 4 years of sobriety
- 1 year as a GSR in District 8
- 6 months as an ACM in District 8
- 6 months as a DCM in District 8
