Assist all District 8 sub-districts in carrying the message to remote or underserved communities
Participate in Area 15’s Remote Communities Standing Committee
Advocate for those who face geographic, cultural, or linguistic barriers to A.A. participation
Meetings & Reporting
Attend the Area 15 Remote Communities Committee meeting each quarter
Report back to the district on Area-level discussions and updates
Attend and report monthly at the District 8 Business Meeting
Communication & Website
Monitor committee email and respond to outreach or connection requests
Collaborate with the Website Chair to keep committee information up to date and accessible
Budgeting
- Submit an annual budget request to the District 8 Treasurer
Qualifications to become a Committee Chair
3 years of sobriety
1 year as a GSR in District 8
